FORMS OF MEDIATION

All Issues Mediation is for partners who have matters to resolve where children and finances are involved.  Working with your mediator, you will work to achieve mutually acceptable and viable way forward for the future.  After financial disclosure, you work together to create a budget based on your individual preferred outcome and a legally binding agreement.  To reach a desired outcome usually requires three two hour sessions at monthly intervals.

Mediation is now the preferred method of resolving an argument, or issues that occur after a separation, or the breakdown of a relationship; including arranging child contact, the custody of a child, child support maintenance and disputes involving money and property.

The voluntary process is confidential, and allows the people involved in a dispute to communicate and negotiate with the help of a mediator until an agreement is reached that can be made legally binding.

By involving your children in the mediation process you help them have a voice in influencing their future parenting arrangements. To reach a desired outcome usually takes one two hour session.

RELATIONSHIP REVIEW

Relationship reviews can be helpful to any couple who is unsure about the future of their relationship.  Your mediator will help you to openly discuss issues and decide whether your relationship can remain intact or help to make crucial, robust decisions in order to separate peacefully and respectfully.  The review usually takes one two hour session however this will depend on the complexity of your relationship.

COHABITATION

PLANNING

Cohabitation Planning helps any couple who is considering moving in together or making long term financial commitments together.  It is often mistakenly believed that there are automatic rights for cohabiting couples and it is helpful to understand the implications of your relationship ending in anyway.  Often couples opt to enter into a prenuptial agreement following mediation.  Depending on the complexity of your relationship, the planning process usually takes one two hour session.

Although not legally required all forms of mediation can be carried out in conjunction with a solicitor should you wish
